The episode typically starts out with King Kaio having a joyride on his tiny planet with Bubble and Gregory on his side. While cracking up some jokes, Goku suddenly appears in front of them causing Kaio's car to crash into his house.
Back in planet Earth, Bulma is aboard on her private plane flying over to a resort island. Her son Trunks is taking a nap at the back while Vegeta is on top of the plane's roof. Later on the island, Bulma asks Vegeta why he took some time off his training. It's because he made a promise to their son Trunks, that he would take him out in an amusement park. Bulma is of course very happy to see some big changes on her husband's attitude ever since he fought Buu. The entire family continue their strolls and visit different shopping stores in the island before having their dinner at an expensive restaurant.
On the next scene, the family is sitting on the beach while waiting for the sun to set. Bulma sees a massive cruise ship and thinks that it would be a perfect place to hold her birthday party. Vegeta is now becoming quite irritated as the island night time festivities continues to become rowdy and crowded. He still doesn't want to fall behind on his training. So when the MC invited him on the stage, he finally snaps and blast off.
Meanwhile in a far away corners of the universe, Beerus is trying to remember the details of his dream about the "Super Saiyan God" as he and Whis is heading towards an alien planet. In this planet, they see this primitive looking creatures with four eyes and arms, battling a giant dinosaur. The native's stone weapons are no match against it but is eventually defeated by their big yellow colored leader. Whis asks the leader if they can have a taste of the dinosaur's meat, but unfortunately it doesn't understand him. He repeats his request but was unsuccessful. It becomes irritated and transforms into a larger red creature getting ready to battle them. Beerus lost his patience because he had hoped that by eating the dinosaurs meat, it would help him to remember the figure of his prophetic dreams. A short battle ensued; he easily defeated the native's leader and blows up the entire planet afterwards .
In Kaioshin's realm, Elder Kaioshin senses the negative energy brought by the primitive planet's destruction and alerted the younger East Kaioshin about it. The God of destruction, Lord Beerus has indeed been awakened!
Back on Earth, Vegeta has returned to the Capsule Corporation's Gravity room to continue his training while Goku has also started his training on Kaio's planet.
