Philippine Dragon Fireworks Team won second place on their explosive show at the 2015 International Fireworks Competition in Hannover, Germany

Philippine Dragon Fireworks Team, Hannover Germany

On September 5th, 2015, the Philippine Dragon Fireworks Team illuminated Herrenhausen Garden's vast night skies with their spectacular and dazzling fireworks show.  The said event was for the 25th International Fireworks Competition held in Hannover, Germany.

Here is now the official video uploaded by Pyroworld.nl
Sit back, relax and enjoy the entire show!

My personal views on their performance:
I personally love Philippine Dragon Fireworks Team's presentation last night.  Everything was synchronized and the music selection was great (though most of it were unfamiliar to me *wink*).  It was absolutely amazing! I was stunned :)  I was also really looking forward if they were going to insert some Tagalog songs/music on it just like what they did on their 2013 Pyronale performance but they didn't.  Nonetheless, I still like every bits of it.

I also like the idea of putting up some "pole" thingy on the firing ground.  The "cross" effects looks really cool.  It kinda give this "3D" effect on it.

I love the 12:15 part :) - the synchronization of the music with the dancing sparks was superb!

Just a tiny side comments though.  The smokes were too thick that shrouded the view of the fireworks display last night.  I don't know if it has something to do with the weather. [edit] Yep, it's confirmed.  The weather wasn't that good on their performance night.

All in all, I would rate it 10/10

The photo was taken from his facebook page.  Let me quote what he said:
"2nd place wasn't really bad if it was Best of the Best :) thank you Lord for bringing us the Opportunity to showcase what Filipinos can do for the International Fireworks Scene :) to GOD be the GLORY"
Huge congratulations guys!

The team also won a gold trophy from the recently concluded 2015 Flammende Sterne International Fireworks Competition held in Stuttgart, Germany last August 22.
Their show was titled "It's time... a sky full of stars."

Oh yes, our very own Philippine Dragon Fireworks Team is back  again in the international scene after they made an excellent performance at the 2013 Pyronale Fireworks World Championship which was held in Berlin, Germany almost two years ago.  As we all know, they were crowned as the grand champion of this big and prestigious event.

The team won two awards; The Audience Choice Awards and the Gold Trophy for being the champion.  Team Spain (Pirotecnia Zaragozana) earned the Silver Trophy, and Team Finland (JoHo Pyro) got the Bronze Trophy respectively.

As of this writing, the video which was uploaded by Pyroworld.nl on their Youtube channel has already garnered an impressive amount of 1,016,827 views!  That's really a milestone not just for the entire Philippine team but also to all the Filipino fans around the globe who were supporting the team right from the very start.

Just a little background about the Philippine Dragon Fireworks Team:
  • They were the first ever state-approved pyrotechnic producer in the Philippines and is also now one of the largest fireworks producers in Southeast Asia.
  • Because of the strict law in the Philippines that prohibits the importation of fireworks from other countries, the Pyro technicians have learned to produce myriad amount of fireworks themselves.
  • With their skills, inventiveness and wide knowledge on the technical aspect of fireworks making, they were able to produce rare and high-quality pyrotechnics.
  • Because of these, they have won several prestigious national awards in the past including the one in the National Philippine Fireworks Festival which started in 2004.  They also performed in the opening ceremony of the 23rd Southeast Asian Games.
